Reiki

In Reiki practice, practitioners channel this universal life energy through their hands to facilitate healing and balance in the recipient. The core belief is that energy flows through all living beings, and disturbances or imbalances in this energy can manifest as physical, emotional, or spiritual ailments.

During a Reiki session, the practitioner places their hands lightly on or slightly above the recipient’s body, allowing the Reiki energy to flow through them and into the recipient. This energy is thought to activate the body’s natural healing processes, inducing relaxation, reducing stress, and promoting overall well-being.

Reiki is commonly used alongside conventional medical treatments as a complementary therapy due to its gentle, non-invasive nature. It can be practiced on oneself or others and is often employed to alleviate various symptoms, induce relaxation, and enhance overall health and vitality.

While Reiki originated in Japan, it has become widely practiced worldwide and has been adapted into various forms and traditions. Practitioners come from diverse cultural and spiritual backgrounds, and Reiki continues to gain popularity as a holistic approach to healing and wellness.
